ThermoScientific TDE Series -80°C Freezer

Thermo Scientific TDE Series ultra-low temperature freezer, with a capacity of 816 L, designed for the long-term storage of biological samples, reagents, extracts, cultures, and other temperature-sensitive materials. The equipment operates within a temperature range of −50 °C to −86 °C, providing stable ultra-low temperature storage conditions for laboratory and research applications.

The unit features four independent inner doors, which help minimize cold loss when accessing samples, and a stainless-steel interior. With a total capacity of up to 600 2" × 2" boxes or 300 3" × 3" boxes, the equipment is ideal for laboratories requiring safe and reliable storage of biological samples and other temperature-sensitive materials.

This equipment does not require a request or booking. To access it, please contact the space caretaker or, for shared centre spaces (e.g. Lab 2.39, Building 8), the technicians.
