With more than two decades of sedimentology experience, field work and laboratory management, Margarida plays an essential role in the operation and maintenance os scientific equipment, in performing laboratory analysis and support in sample-collecting campaigns.
Margarida is responsable for the operation and technical support of the Malvern Mastersizer 3000 equipment, colaborating equally in sedimentology analysis, sample preparation and field-data acquisition. Beyond the analytical component, she assures the management of chemical residues, equipment maintenance, consumables management and logistic support to CIMA's research activities.
