Fiocchetti BF80A Ice Maker

Fiocchetti BF80A flake ice maker, designed for the continuous production of granular ice for laboratory, healthcare, and research applications. The equipment has a production capacity of up to 68 kg of ice per 24 hours and an integrated storage bin with a capacity of 25 kg, providing a continuous supply of ice for sample preparation, preservation, and processing.

The unit features air-cooled condensation, a stainless-steel construction, and electronic control with self-diagnostic functions and visual alarms. The system also includes a safety thermostat that stops ice production when the storage bin reaches its maximum level, as well as a removable front filter to facilitate condenser maintenance.

This equipment does not require a request or booking. To access it, please contact the space caretaker or, for shared centre spaces (e.g. Lab 2.39, Building 8), the technicians.
